The stuff that we are learning currently on ICTs is so fascinating. It's gonna be really challenging to integrate that into our teaching. i think one of the major challenges our country will be faced with is teacher development. our government should invest on developing all educators but i still believe that it has to start with an individual.

It is really a challenge. It also mean that sponsorships should also play a role in suplying with computers to schools because at the moment we are running short of ICT appliances.If all the educaters can be computer literate, we will be offloaded with paperwork.
ReplyDeleteIt is very important that educators must be developed fist,so that they to cope with this fast changing in ICT integration in our schools.Already the government is promising to uplift the standard of teaching by giving them the Laptops.

You are spot-on,on the issue that teacher training must start with an individual.I think if we can cluster ourselves into syndicates in our various circuits or district and start to empower ourselves.We cannot wait for the department,if not careful we will wait forever!

ReplyDeleteI WAS REALLY TOUCHED THIS MORNING WHEN I HEARD ABOUT THE SHOOTOUT THAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT AT SOWETO. I DO REALLY THINK THAT MOST OF OUR TAXI DRIVERS STILL HAVE GOT A LONG WAY TO GO. THEY TEND TO FOCUS ON PETTY THINGS AND THEY DON'T LOOK AT THE BRIGHTER SIDE OF THE THINGS. KILLING PEOPLE WHO ARE GOING TO PAY THEIR SALARIES. I THINK WE NEED TO BOYCOTT THESE TAXIS. THEY ARE SO GREEDY AND THEY DON'T EVEN THINK OF US AS COMMUTERS.
